At-Talaq 65:2

فَإِذَا بَلَغۡنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمۡسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعۡرُوفٍ أَوۡ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعۡرُوفࣲ وَأَشۡهِدُواْ ذَوَيۡ عَدۡلࣲ مِّنكُمۡ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَ لِلَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ يُوعَظُ بِهِۦ مَن كَانَ يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مَخۡرَجࣰا

English – Sahih International

And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allāh. That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allāh and the Last Day. And whoever fears Allāh – He will make for him a way out

At-Talaq 65:3

وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَحۡتَسِبُۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسۡبُهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمۡرِهِۦۚ قَدۡ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ قَدۡرࣰا

English – Sahih International

And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allāh – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allāh will accomplish His purpose. Allāh has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.

These ayat are self explanatory and so meaningful. Fear Allaah and He will make for you a way out and provide for you from where you do not expect. This is about the importance of relying in Allaah and having trust in Him. There may be situations in your life where you’re thinking this is too hard, I must choose a path Allaah is not pleased with or I won’t be able to cope but Allaah is saying Himself fear Him and He will make for you a way out. That’s a big test of tawakkul. An example could be of mortgage, you think everyone is taking a mortgage to buy a house I must do it too but no we shouldn’t deal in matters that are haram. Allaah says to have trust in Him and it’s actually far better to rent a house in a halal way then it is to get a mortgage using haram means. Another example could be of a person looking to get married, they may think I can’t seem to find anyone let me try chatting in a non halal way with the opposite gender to find someone to marry. Allaah will provide for you, just have trust in Him and everything is written down. May Allaah aid us all to have tawakkul in Him Aameen
