Current Affairs in the World🌍

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh my lovely readers,

When I don’t make a blogpost other then the daily prompts in a while I really miss it, I’m just waiting to type when I get the chance. However, as a mum especially when your kids are sick, you have other priorities and I really am trying to be better at not constantly using my phone in front of the kids. I know I need to work on giving them more quality time, so that’s what I’m trying to do now in shaa Allaah (that’s not to say I don’t but I would like to be more conscious). May Allaah grant my children shifaa from their illnesses Aameen🩷 Those who like my daily prompt posts is nice as it allows me to see what audience is actually reading my posts or I don’t really know who exactly is reading. So do give a like (and comment if you like) if you are reading this post. Also, what topics would people like me to write about? Some topics I have planned are labour, dealing with depression and caring for eczema as I thought these could be of help to others in shaa Allaah.

Anyway onto to my topic about the current affairs in the world particularly about the middle east wars. I have to admit I really don’t read the news etc enough, so I don’t know a lot of information about this topic but I know I have some sort of platform (yes a small one) and I should discuss this in shaa Allaah. It’s very important for me to speak the truth in whatever topic I choose to write about even if that means I lose readers.

I’m sure we all know about the horrible genocide going on in Gaza, Palestine, which has been breaking our hearts for a few years now subhanAllaah. There are also horrible conflicts in other countries, such as Yemen, Iran, Lebanon etc. It is so sad seeing our brothers and sisters in hardship.

May Allaah aid the Muslims from Israel’s horrific actions Aameen❤️.

Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6011, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2586

Our hearts ache seeing the horrifying situations our brothers and sisters are in, especially of those so small. We must constantly remember them in our dua. The way their faith does not shake whilst they are in severe hardship is inspiring to us all!

Al-Baqarah 2:155

English – Sahih International

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,

Al-Ahzab 33:3

وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلࣰا

English – Sahih International

And rely upon Allāh; and sufficient is Allāh as Disposer of affairs.

Having trust in Allaah and a reminder that this life is a temporary abode and the hereafter is our destination.

Ar-Rum 30:41

English – Sahih International

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allāh] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].

Our sins affect the Ummah. So if you really do care about our brothers and sisters then make dua for them and hold yourself to account for what sins you are committing and leave them for the sake of Allaah. Pray tahajjud and make dua for our brothers and sisters during the last third of the night.

Lastly, (I assume what I’m about to say may be controversial to some but) I would like to mention that it is not from the Qur’an and Sunnah to go to protests in the streets etc. The Sahaabah didn’t do protests. Shaykh Albani (may Allaah show mercy upon him) has a statement regarding demonstrations and he talks about those who want to protest in the streets to establish the Sharī’ah, but they do it by imitating the disbelievers.

The scholars have adviced people to not demonstrate because this is not from the metholodogy of the Sahaabah and to gain success we must follow the Qur’an and Sunnah upon the understanding of the salaf. There is no evidence regarding demonstations and the people at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went through many trials but they did not demonstrate. Success will only come from following the Qur’an and Sunnah.

May Allaah aid our brothers and sisters suffering and ease their affairs Aameen🌍
